About Roger - Your Host

I have travelled the world working in tourism and later bought a Coach company, which my wife and I ran very successfully. I enjoy a good debate around the dinner table and enjoy gardening also a nice glass of wine which is at odds with my endeavours to keep up a fitness regime :)

I enjoy seeing people try new experiences out of their comfort zone and finding great confidence when they do. But most of all, I like to make people smile...

+ What an absolute find! I spent three nights at Synergy and am already looking forward to my next trip. Roger is a great host who has opened up his home and life. He was very welcoming, provided breakfast everyday and dinners as well (for a moderate cost) which meant I could relax and not have to worry about having to drive into town every evening. My room and bed were very comfortable and I slept very well. Synergy is a small guesthouse and you have the option of mixing with the other guests - conversations around the dinner table or in the hot tub make it feel like you're staying with a group of good friends, and not at an impersonal business. Highly recommended!

Oh, what a night? We had @ Synergy Beachside Nudist Retreat.
Roger was not only the most generous & consummate of hosts during our nudism initiation, but he was a terrific cook providing wonderful meals & great conversation thruout our stay. We soon got over any hesitations we might have had about disrobing & he made us feel both comfortable & confident in his company.
Roger's home is very private & absolutely wonderful, boasting a hot tub, pool & really first class bedding & amenities. And its only a short stroll out the back gate to the beautiful Dundowran Beach & all that Hervey Bay has to offer (including K?gari (aka Fraser Island)).
We will be back (in a flash! pardon the pun)! Thanks Roger, Simone & John

Roger is a great host, his house is very spacious and clean . The beach is also very beautiful. The way to be free. Host was top notch couldn't do enough for the guests. Grounds are awesome with everything you need for your stay. Every thing was excellent.

My wife's comfort comes first, and when we found out that she was the only female and everyone else was male, we had some concerns, but strangely they never stayed around as though they were not comfortable themselves. Rodger the host made us very comfortable and we had a great stay.

Like at home : Roger is a wonderful host, very friendly and thoughtful, and a true chef in the kitchen. I dont think we could have found a more comfortable bed in Hervey bay, and his place is decorated with style and class, he really made us feel like at home.

The host and the other guests were more than accommodating, the breakfast was worthy of a five star restaurant, the property is very luxurious and excellently maintained and overall everything that is needed to make you feel comfortable was thought of.

The bnb is awesome and should be called a retreat rather than a retreat! A luxurious homestay, which is also nudist / naturist (clothing free) so definitely an added bonus. No clothes worn from when we arrived, until we unfortunately had to depart for home. We had the room with the King bed - very comfy, with a shared bathroom which in a nudist place is not a problem!

Private, safe and everything you need for a holiday rather than just a stay. Roger is an awesome host and we had a great stay.

All parts of the property are private and well screened, a heated in-ground pool and a lovely warm heated spa in a beautiful tropical garden, a large undercover area with a bbq. Ideal for the first time nudists.

Roger is a wonderful, friendly, generous host and a great cook - so we do recommend paying a little extra for the lunch and dinner package.

We would give 6 stars out of 5 if we could!

I have to admit this is the first b and b I have stayed at because I normally like to be in the heart of the town or on the beach, but can honestly say I made the right decision.

From the first point of contact to when I left Rodger made the stay unreal in every aspect, he opened his home in every way possible and even made a lovely breakfast and at no time was there any pressure to be some where at a certain time even know there was a security gate he made sure my access when I retuned was stress free, just a quick text and the gate was open. Security, layout of the house and what the house had to offer which I had access to everything was 5 star. Thanks Rodger for making the stay so enjoyable and next time I am back in Harvey Bay you will see me again.



House Rules

In order for guests to have an enjoyable& relaxing time at Synergy Nudist Retreat, I ask guests to follow the guidelines below...

#1 My home is a nude environment. The pool and spa area are nude only. All other areas within the property are naturist friendly including all garden areas. I live a clothing free lifestyle and may be nude in all areas.

#2 A maximum of 2 visitors unless by prior arrangement. House rules apply to all guests and in house guests are responsible for their guest's behaviour.

#3 Smoking and vaping - only in the firepit area, please note : Illegal drug use will not be tolerated and you will asked to leave with no refund.

#4 Meals or snacks can be consumed in all areas except the lounge and Bedroom areas.

#5 Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 6am.

#6 No parties are to be held.

#7 The Laundry is available free of charge there is also an iron available, used seating towels can be placed in the laundry tub or in the basket in your room.

#8 The workshop shed is an off-limit area all other areas not secured are available.

#9 Pets are welcome but not in the lounge area and prior notice would be appreciated. Pet sitting is available while you are out touring for $25 per day per pet.



#10 General Naturist / Nudist etiquette applies

Things you need to know as a "newbie' or a seasoned Naturist...

 Always sit on a towel (butt matts!) while nude , wherever you go...

 Please do not stare at anyone or make them feel uncomfortable

 Just have fun and don't be concerned about what you do or do not look like. Everyone is beautiful here

 Watch the Hervey Bay sun, it feels great on your skin (however, be aware of areas that haven't had sun exposure before!), bring sunscreen or better yet seek shade options)

 Behaviour and language that disrespects others will not be tolerated (nude not lewd)

 Public sexual behaviour or sexual advances will not be tolerated

 Remember clothing free means you are usually nude unless the weather or circumstances means its not practical to be so
